Droughtmaster FNQ

Euluma is an old and well-established Droughtmaster stud, founded in 1963 by the late Jack Rasmussen, and has remained in the one family since the beginning. It originated on a small 400-acre property, in the green rolling hills of Julatten, north of Mareeba in tropical north Queensland. Jack’s family have carried on and expanded Euluma to about 3000 acres, comprising over 800 head of cattle.

The sole principal is now Jack’s son Gordon, who is continually improving the property, and meticulously fine-tuning the quality of his herds. Gordon’s passion for the Droughtmaster breed, and his no-nonsense approach to selectivity make Euluma produce some of Australia’s finest quality cattle.
